- Director: Fumiaki Usui (Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo)
- Series Composition: Rintarou Ikeda (Renai Boukun script)
- Character Design, Chief Animation Director: Eriko Itou (Koi to Uso)
- Studio: LIDENFILMS
Tejina-senpai was initially published as back-to-back one-shot chapters in 2015 in that year’s ninth and tenth issues of Weekly Young Magazine. At that time, the mangaka was credited as Azu Amanatsu. It started regular serialization in the magazine’s thirteenth issue of 2016. The manga’s serialization schedule changed to biweekly between 43rd issue of 2017 and the 38th issue of 2018 due to the mangaka’s physical condition.
The fifth compiled volume will be released on November 4. Kodansha Comics USA has been publishing the series digitally in English as Magical Sempai since September 2017.
